Don Buehler, president of Export Solutions, was recently interviewed by Jeremy Quittner from Inc. magazine, as part of a story which focuses on the regulatory challenges faced by small/medium businesses who export their products and services outside of the United States. The story, titled “Know Your Customers, Or Else” also highlights one of Export Solutions’ clients – Cincinnati Thermal Spray (CTS).

Compliance with export regulations can be challenging for companies of any size, but small/medium businesses looking to expand globally also face the added hurdles of limited budgets and headcounts – not to mention a general lack of knowledge about the regulations. “It is fair to say the main cause of export problems is ignorance,” Buehler told Quittner during the interview.

The story provides an overview of these challenges and also describes some of the steps CTS has undertaken to meet them.
